"Last week in golf" is a look back at the compelling, funny, and often strange stories from around the golf world over the past seven days.

Have you recovered yet?

The Open Championship provided an outstanding display of golf last week, dominating the headlines along the way.

Big Cat is back

Tiger Woods created a Twitter storm we haven't seen in years, perhaps ever. The heat map of Twitter activity for Sunday Tiger is incredible to witness.

Here are some of the shots that let us know Big Cat's back is 100 percent fused and he's ready to contend in majors.

Molinari's plan

Francesco Molinari won the Open Championship in brilliant fashion, turning in an error-free round on Sunday. What surfaced after his victory was this hilarious note taken by PGA Tour player Wesley Bryan regarding Molinari's retirement plan in the coming years. Safe to say plans have changed.

Major impressions

Conor Moore, newly hired by the Golf Channel, created a buzz before the Masters with his incredible impersonations of the world's best golfers. He was back and better than ever for the Open Championship.

Spieth's new hairdo

On Saturday, Jordan Spieth showed up with a noticeable new look. He spoke about his adventures into Carnoustie to get the trim, one that Spieth called "a little high and tight."

Kevin Kisner wasn't super excited to discuss his roommate's new look.

Spieth and Kisner rented two side-by-side houses along with Rickie Fowler, Justin Thomas, Zach Johnson, and Jimmy Walker. Here's a picture of the group enjoying a delicious looking steak dinner.

Phil being Phil

Prior to The Open, Phil Mickelson had people lining up so he could hit flop shots over them. Phil is really good, but these people are also big risk takers.

Lincicome shines in Kentucky

LPGA Tour player Brittany Lincicome played in the PGA Tour event in Kentucky this past week, becoming the sixth woman to do so. She didn't make the cut but fired a 1-under round on Friday that included an eagle hole-out.

Ace-Albatross?!?

Junior golfer Conor Kelly did the unthinkable this past week when he dropped back-to-back ace-albatross to finish his front nine during an American Junior Golf Association event. The odds of this occurring are astronomical.
