Molinari takes home massive payday along with Claret Jug

Francesco Molinari will not only be heading home with the Claret Jug for winning the Open Championship, but he will be leaving Scotland with his pockets full of cash.

The 35-year-old Italian earned himself $1.89 million for his performance at Carnoustie, the fourth-largest payday in golf.

Justin Rose - who was a missed putt away from heading home empty-handed on Friday - pocketed a cool $694,250.

Although he definitely doesn't need the money, Tiger Woods won $327,000 for finishing tied for sixth.
