Tiger Woods fired a 4-under 66 on Sunday at TPC Potomac, closing out the Quicken Loans National at 11-under par and inside the top five when his round finished.

Woods started the day six shots back of the lead, but a red-hot Francesco Molinari simply played too well for Woods to truly make the Sunday push the golf world is accustomed to seeing from the 14-time major champ.

After making three birdies on the front nine, Woods bogeyed twice in his first four holes on the back, preventing him from climbing further up the leaderboard. He'd eventually get both strokes back on 15 and 16, but he will have to wait a little longer for his 80th career win.

Overall, Woods, who switched putters entering the tournament, had an up-and-down showing for the week. A 65 on Friday gave him a chance, but he lamented his missed opportunities in a disappointing 68 on moving day.

From here, the next event Woods has confirmed he will play in is The Open Championship, held at Carnoustie from July 19-22.
