Dustin Johnson's brilliant performance on Friday at Shinnecock Hills saw him take a four-stroke lead into the weekend at the U.S. Open, and become a massive betting favorite in the process.
The Westgate Superbook in Las Vegas has listed the 2016 champion as a 2-3 betting favorite to win his second U.S. Open on Sunday. That sees Johnson well ahead of Justin Rose at 8-1, with Rickie Fowler and Henrik Stenson both listed at 12-1.
It's a star-studded chase pack that will try to hunt down Johnson around the challenging layout, but unless the top-ranked player in the world suddenly suffers a dip in form, it's unlikely anyone will be able to catch him.
Here are the top names on the betting board heading into Saturday:

---|---|---|---|
Dustin Johnson | 1 | -4 | 2-3 |
Justin Rose | T-4 | +1 | 8-1 |
Rickie Fowler | T-9 | +2 | 12-1 |
Henrik Stenson | T-4 | +1 | 12-1 |
