Dustin Johnson carded a 6-under 66 in second-round action at the Memorial on Friday after making a swap to a familiar club.
Johnson reverted back to his black Taylormade Spider putter, the flat-stick he used up until the RBC Heritage and in parts of last year.
He gained nearly 1.5 strokes putting in Friday's round compared to the 0.14 he gained Thursday, helping him record seven birdies in Round 2.
The 33-year-old debuted a new Spider Mini model (seen below) for The Players and used that putter in Thursday's opening round.

Johnson was tied for 34th in strokes gained: putting heading into the Memorial Tournament.
