Those hoping to see the 2018-19 PGA Tour schedule this week will have to wait a bit longer as Golf Channel contributor John Feinstein said Tuesday the release has been postponed.
According to Feinstein, the reason for the postponement is that there are a number of sponsors trying to save the event in Houston, and potential tournaments in Washington, D.C., Minneapolis, and Detroit need to be ironed out.
The major change on the schedule is the move of the PGA Championship from August to May, and The PLAYERS Championship moving from Mother's Day weekend to March, a slot on the schedule it used to occupy.
The moves are being made with the idea that the FedEx Cup Playoffs would be complete before the kickoff of the NFL season in early September.
