Tiger Woods and Justin Rose sit atop the leaderboard after Round 2 of the Tour Championship on Friday, holding a two-shot edge over the field at 7-under par.

Woods shot a 2-under 68 on Day 2 at East Lake Golf Club, a round that consisted of five birdies, a bogey, and a costly double-bogey. After electrifying the crowd with back-to-back birdies, Tiger was alone in first by two shots before giving them right back. A wayward drive and an unlucky lie in a fairway bunker led to a six on the par-4 16th.

He would birdie the par-5 18th to join Rose in the clubhouse at 7-under.

Rose continued his consistent play in the FedEx Cup playoffs with a 67 on Friday. The newly minted world No. 1 entered the Tour Championship in second on the points list, meaning a win this week would grant him the $10-millon prize.

Rory McIlroy carded a respectable 2-under round of his own to sit alone in third at 5-under.

Billy Horschel and Patrick Cantlay fired the low rounds of the day, with their 65s vaulting them up the leaderboard into a tie for fourth. They share the position along with Jon Rahm and Justin Thomas.

FedEx Cup points leader Bryson DeChambeau may have squandered his opportunity at the $10-million prize after shooting a 5-over 75 in Round 2. He sits in a tie for 27th.

Surprisingly, the worst round of the day belonged to likely Player of the Year winner Brooks Koepka, who shot an uncharacteristic 78.

Woods and Rose will tee off at 2:30 p.m. ET in the final pairing for Round 3 on Saturday. A full list of tee times can be found here.
