Tiger sits 6 back after finishing off 66 in Round 2

After being forced off the course due to severe weather on Friday afternoon, Tiger Woods returned to Bellerive early Saturday morning to finish off a second-round 66 at the PGA Championship.

While his score represents a four-stroke improvement from the opening round, the 14-time major champ still sits six shots off the 36-hole lead held by Gary Woodland.

Woods began his second round red-hot on Friday afternoon, birdieing three of his first five holes before the horn blew due to weather while he was on the 8th hole. The 42-year-old picked up where he left off early on Saturday, sticking a wedge to five feet with his second shot of the day and rolling in the birdie to get to 4-under.

The inward stretch would represent a bit of a challenge for Tiger, as he offset two bogeys with two birdies to shoot even par on the back nine. After his disastrous bogey, double-bogey start to his tournament on Thursday, Woods is now 7-under over his last 34 holes and looks primed for a run in Round 3.

He won't get much of a rest before getting back out on the course though, with only a 30-minute break before the field starts teeing off for the third round.
