Tiger Woods shot another even-par 71 in Round 2 at Carnoustie, battling the elements to make the cut at The Open on Friday.

Despite finishing at even, Woods got off to a rocky start. An errant tee shot and three-putt caused him to drop two shots in the opening three holes.

He bounced back rather quickly, birdieing the next two holes to get back to level par through five, but bogeyed No. 9 to make the turn at 1-over.

As the rain started to die down, Woods took advantage of the softer conditions on the back nine. He sat at 1-under through 15 but again gave a shot back on the difficult par-3 16th hole.

Woods had a great look to shoot 1-under, narrowly missing a birdie putt on the 18th.

The three-time Open Champion finished his round six shots behind leaders Zach Johnson and Kevin Kisner.
