PGA Tour Power Rankings: Justin Thomas continues his dominance
For the first time this PGA Tour season, theScore ranks the top-10 players in the world, based on their wins, consistency, and strokes gained statistics. Here is how the top-10 golfers shake out.
1. Justin Thomas
The 2017 Player of the Year picked up right where he left off, with wins at the CJ Cup in Korea and the Honda Classic, Thomas is one of three golfers with two wins this PGA Tour season. The 25-year-old was also a runner-up at the WGC-Mexico Championship and lost in the semifinals of the WGC-Match Play.
2. Jon Rahm
The world No. 3 is off to a blazing start in 2018. Rahm picked up an early win at the CareerBuilder Challenge and won his nation's open in Spain a few weeks ago. His Masters performance was impressive, coming fourth in only his second trip to Augusta.
3. Dustin Johnson

Johnson won the first event of 2018, the Tournament of Champions, but his relative quietness since is concerning. The world No. 1 leads the PGA Tour in strokes gained tee-to-green despite mediocre results. He will need a big month of May if he wants to remain the best golfer in the world.
4. Jordan Spieth
Spieth's stats are not translating to winning results, but he's close. The three-time major winner is second in strokes gained tee-to-green for the year. He came third at Augusta after an incredible final round. A win is coming very soon.
5. Bubba Watson
Bubba is another golfer with two wins this season, claiming the Genesis Open and WGC-Match Play titles. He also tied for fifth at the Masters. After a terrible year in 2017, likely due to his choice of golf ball, Bubba is back in full force.
6. Patrick Reed

Reed winning the Masters says enough. Add in the fact he put together three top-10 finishes prior to his victory at Augusta and Reed is easily one of the best players in the world right now.
7. Rory McIlroy
McIlroy struggled his first few weeks on American soil in 2018, missing two cuts in four events. It was at the Arnold Palmer Invitational where he putted the lights out en route to his first win of the season. He was in the final group at the Masters, coming up short once again of completing the career grand slam.
8. Jason Day
After a down year in 2017, Day rebounded early by winning the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines, followed by a second-place finish at Pebble Beach. The next two weeks will likely determine where Day's season is heading.
9. Phil Mickelson

Mickelson is having a resurgent season. He picked up his first win since 2013 at the WGC-Mexico Championship, edging out Justin Thomas in a playoff. Lefty also recorded three other top-six finishes while making his last eight cuts.
10. Rickie Fowler
Fowler's impressive runner-up finish at the Masters puts him in the top 10 despite his only win being the exhibition event, the Hero World Challenge. He will look to continue his form through the Wells Fargo Championship and into THE PLAYERS, an event he won in 2015.
