Ted Potter Jr. took the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am on Sunday, posting 17-under for the tournament to win by three shots over Dustin Johnson, Phil Mickelson, Jason Day, and Chez Reavie.

Potter, who played alongside world No. 1 Johnson in the last group, carded a 3-under-par 69 to win his second career PGA Tour title.

"This has just been a blast this week," Potter told Peter Kostis of CBS after the victory. "It's unbelievable right now."

The 34-year-old was forced to regain his PGA Tour status on the Web.com circuit after breaking his ankle in the summer of 2014, but this victory earns him a two-year exemption and an invite to the Masters in April.

"It's definitely pleasing. I mean, it was a bit of a struggle there for a while," added Potter. " To break an ankle, you don't know what's going to happen with your golf swing or career. To come back from that ... I mean it's just unbelievable."

Johnson entered the day tied as the favorite to win his third Pebble Beach Pro-Am, but struggled all day en route to an even-par 72, while Mickelson carded a 67 to snag a second straight top-five result.

Kevin Streelman and Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald won the pro-am team event with a score of 41-under.
