Golfers will soon have the option to use goats as caddies at one Oregon resort.

The Retreat & Links at Silvies Valley Ranch in Seneca is training goats to work at a new seven-hole course called "McVeigh's Gauntlet," according to Alex Myers of Golf Digest. The goats are born and raised on the ranch, and will be equipped to carry drinks, golf balls, tees, and a few clubs for golfers.

"We've been developing an unprecedented caddie training program with our head caddie, Bruce LeGoat, to ensure that he and his team are ready for the opening of The Gauntlet this summer," Silvies owner Dr. Scott Campbell said. "We're truly redefining both goat and golf operations at the ranch."
