Adam Stalmach, the 24-year-old who was arrested for streaking across the 17th hole at the Waste Management Phoenix Open Pro-Am, says it was worth it.

In an interview with Maria Hechanova of azfamily.com, Stalmach explained that he consumed at least eight drinks over the course of an hour before deciding to strip naked and run onto the course.

"The alcohol helped," Stalmach said. "I definitely wouldn't have done it if I was sober."

Stalmach pleaded guilty to indecent exposure and spent five days in jail. He also lost his bartending job and owes $1,500 in fines, which he set up a GoFundMe page to help pay for.

While Stalmach acknowledged he "definitely wouldn't do it again," he didn't express regret over the stunt.

"Yeah, it was worth it," he said. "As long as people got a kick out of it, it was worth it."
