Volunteer told crowd 'I would beat his ass' after fan distracted Tiger

The fan who yelled midway through Tiger Woods' backswing during the final round of the Farmers Insurance Open received an earful from the crowd afterward.

"Get that moron out here!" and "You're an idiot. Go home!" were just some of the comments directed toward the man, according to Josh Sens of Golf.com. But one volunteer working the tournament was particularly peeved.

After questioning the man about why he did what he did, the volunteer turned to the crowd and said, "If I were you all, I would beat his ass. That's what you guys should do."

Sens also noted that the man did apologize before slinking away.
