Dustin Johnson almost became the second PGA Tour player to record an ace on a par 4 by nearly holing his tee shot at the 12th in Kapalua on Sund.
Johnson's tee shot finished inches from the bottom of the cup en route to his second eagle on No. 12 in as many days at the Sentry Tournament of Champions.
After hearing his drive came close to dropping for a hole-in-one, the world No. 1 turned and said, "I missed it a little. I hit it a little thin ... came up a little short."
Thatโll work on most courses https://t.co/Ktr7LRlwjC

The 33-year-old American would win the 34-player field event for his 17th career PGA Tour title.
