Source: Tiger's 'TGR' prototype irons were made by Nike

Orlando Ramirez-USA TODAY Sports

Tiger Woods hitting golf balls is old news, but what the 14-time major champion is using has been a big talking point this week.

Woods arrived at a clinic on Tuesday with a full bag of clubs, yet it was the "TGR" blade prototype irons that caught the eye of many golf fans, creating a debate as to which manufacturer made the club.

According to a former Nike employee via golfwrx.com, the prototype irons were in fact produced by Nike prior to closing the Fort Worth, Texas facility.

Tiger's swing videos aren't the only things buzzing on the internet. What's in his bag is quite interesting, too.

After Nike exited the golf equipment business last year, Woods signed a deal with TaylorMade in January to play their clubs.
