By the numbers: Jason Day's incredible career stats at Conway Farms

Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

It hasn't been a banner season for Jason Day in 2016-17, but he's been a different player this week at the BMW Championship.

The Aussie has owned Conway Farms in his career, finishing in a tie for fourth in 2013, then snagging the trophy in 2015 with a record-setting performance at 22-under par. Day added to his remarkable track record over the first two days of the third leg of the FedEx Cup playoffs, posting rounds of 64 and 65 to move into contention heading into the weekend.

Here's a breakdown, by the numbers, of just how dominant the 2015 PGA champion has been on the Tom Fazio-designed course:

0 - Day has never shot a competitive round over par in his entire career on the par-71 site. He's posted just two rounds in the 70s and has carded nine rounds under par.

Year Rd. 1 Rd. 2 Rd. 3 Rd. 4
2013 71 66 70 66
2015 61 63 69 69
2017 64 65

5 - He's made career five eagles at the venue, which included two Friday in a four-hole stretch, and one came at the par-3 17th with an ace.

17 - A big reason for the 10-time PGA Tour winner's success on the course has been his ability to limit mistakes, logging only 17 bogeys on his scorecard.

21 - The number of total putts during his second round Friday, which was a personal career low on tour.

23 - While he's struggled with the flatstick this season, that hasn't been the case over the first two days in Chicago. Day has registered 23 one-putts through 36 holes.

46 - His under-par total in 10 career rounds played.

53 - The 29-year-old recorded 17 birdies in 2013, 25 in 2015, and has 11 thus far in the 2017 tournament, for a total of 53 budgies.

66.4 - The Aussie's career scoring average since 2013.
