Johnson Wagner began his round Friday at the Wyndham Championship carding four straight pars, but then trimmed three strokes with one swing of the club.
Johnson split the par-5 fifth fairway with his drive, then holed his second for a rare albatross - or double eagle on the PGA Tour - moving him to 6-under for the tournament.
According to the PGA Tour Media, Wagner also accomplished the feat in the first round of the 2010 Sanderson Championship. The 37-year-old finished with three birdies, two bogeys, and an eagle for a round of 64.
