A hole-in-one on a par 3 happens fairly regularly on the PGA Tour, but acing a par 4 is an incredibly rare event.
Rickie Fowler came inches away from accomplishing that feat and etching his name in the history books Saturday at the Open Championship, smashing a 346-yard drive that just missed rolling in to the cup.
He would tap-in for an impressive eagle that got him back to even par for the tournament.
