Titleist staff players were introduced to the 718 series prototype irons this week at the Quicken Loans National.

The newest member of the company's golf club family is the AP3 iron, which appears to be a hybrid between the AP1 and AP2 design, producing both feel and forgiveness.

"To me, the AP3 definitely feels like the most forgiving AP iron in the lineup," Jason Bohn told pgatour.com. "I'm going to go out on the course and test them and see how it goes, but I wouldn't rule out putting a full set in play as soon as this week."

Titleist will continue to hit each event in the coming weeks in order to gather more feedback from the pros, and will likely release the new series to the public in the summer or early fall.
