It was exactly one year ago West Virginia was hit hard with torrential rain, causing massive flooding within the state.

One of the worst areas affected by the flash floods was White Sulphur Springs in Greenbrier Country, which accumulated nearly 9.17 inches of rain over a 48-hour period.

The floods destroyed The Greenbrier resort, resulting in the 2016 Greenbrier Classic to be canceled. After a year of hard work by golf superintendent Josh Pope and his staff, the Old White course is restored and ready to greet the PGA Tour in nine days.
