PGA Tour WAGs hold U.S. Open bridal shower for Sergio Garcia's fiancee

It's U.S. Open week on the PGA Tour, but it's not just the players in the field that have plans in rural Wisconsin.

The wives and girlfriends of a number of players threw a bridal shower for Sergio Garcia's fiancee, Angela Akins.

Among those in attendance were Jason Day's wife, Ellie, Rory McIlroy's wife, Erica, and Rickie Fowler's girlfriend, Allison Stokke.

Stokke and Fowler recently began dating and it appears to have had a positive affect on the 28-year-old, as he torched Erin Hills for a record-tying 65 in Thursday's first round.

Garcia and Akins are scheduled to be married later this summer.
