Report: Costco to bring back Kirkland golf ball
Orlando Ramirez-USA TODAY Sports
The hottest ball in golf will reportedly return to the shelves at Costco, according to SeattlePi.com.
"The golf balls will return," Jeffrey Brotman, chairman of Costco said in an email.
The four-piece ball sold out in December when the company was unable to meet the high demand from customers, and had to issue an apology.
The Kirkland signature ball has been compared to the Titleist Pro V1 ball, but much cheaper, selling at $15 for a dozen, or roughly $1.25 per ball, compared to $4 per Titleist ball.
Golfers have coveted the item so much that it has created a market on eBay, selling for nearly four-times as much.
Costco purchases the ball from Nassau Golf, which is located in South Korea.
