Mackenzie Hughes finished his two-week stay in Hawaii with a 2-under-par round of 68 Sunday at the Sony Open.

The 26-year-old Canadian, parred eight straight holes to begin his round. On the par-5 ninth, Hughes hit his second shot onto the green and two-putted for his first birdie of the day.

The Dundas, Ontario native parred the first two holes on the back nine, then hit an 88-yard approach shot to 5 feet on No. 12, leading to another birdie. Hughes would give it back with a bogey at the 14th when he couldn't advance his second onto the green for the left rough.

Hughes would make a 17-footer for birdie at the 16th and then par in the last two holes to record his fifth straight round in the 60s.
