Contrary to a previous report, Phoenix Suns star Chris Paul has declined an invitation to play for Team USA at the Tokyo Games, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Meanwhile, the agent of Milwaukee Bucks forward Khris Middleton and Cleveland Cavaliers big man Kevin Love confirmed the pair's involvement to Wojnarowski.

Bucks guard Jrue Holiday will also be heading to Japan for the Olympics, Wojnarowski reports.

Middleton and Holiday are still competing in the NBA playoffs. A potential Game 7 for the Finals is scheduled for July 22, with USA Basketball beginning Olympic play just three days later. Suns star Devin Booker could also be facing the same scenario but is reportedly joining the American squad.

Love last represented the Stars and Stripes at the 2012 Olympics in London. Middleton played for the U.S. two years ago at the FIBA World Cup, while Holiday has never suited up at a major international competition.

USA Basketball has now reportedly filled out 11 of its 12 roster spots.
