With the conclusion of the U.S. Open marking the end to the qualifying period for the Tokyo Summer Games, the men's 60-golfer Olympic field is set.
The United States will send a star-studded group of Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa, Xander Schauffele, and Bryson DeChambeau to Japan, all of whom rank inside the top six in the world.
Jon Rahm, Rory McIlroy, and reigning Masters champion Hideki Matsuyama, representing the host nation, will also compete for the gold medal.
The golf event runs from July 29-Aug. 1. However, for North American viewers, the tournament starts on the evening of July 28 due to the time difference.
