Kim Rhode continues to etch her name in the history books.

The American captured the bronze medal in women's skeet Friday at Rio 2016, becoming the first woman to earn a medal in six consecutive Olympic Games.

Rhode won a shoot-off with China's Wei Mang after both competitors hit 15 of 16 shots in the bronze medal match.

Italian luger Armin Zoeggeler is the only man to medal in six straight games, from 1994 to 2014.

Rhode has three golds and six total medals. Her first was a double trap gold as a 17-year-old at Atlanta 1996, and she became the first woman to medal in five straight Olympics with a gold at London 2012.
