Canada dominates South Korea in women's basketball

After dropping their first game in Tokyo to Serbia on Monday, the Canadian women's national team responded with a dominant 74-53 win over South Korea, improving to 1-1 in the Olympic tournament.
The Canadians were led by a pair of Minnesota Lynx standouts; guard Bridget Carleton tallied 18 points, seven rebounds, and four assists, while big Natalie Achonwa added 14 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists.
Las Vegas Aces center Ji-Su Park paced the South Koreans with a big 15-point, 11-rebound double-double with five blocks.
The fourth-ranked Canadian women will wrap up preliminary-round play with a crucial game versus third-ranked Spain. Tipoff is slated for 9 p.m. ET on Saturday.
