James Reimer turned away all 31 Edmonton Oilers shots to pick up his first shutout as a member of the San Jose Sharks in a 3-0 win Tuesday.

For the former Toronto Maple Leaf, the goose egg was his first shutout of the season and first since Oct. 29, 2013 - also against the Oilers.

The 27-year-old rebounded from a mediocre first appearance with the Sharks that saw him allow three goals on 25 shots in a 4-2 loss to the Vancouver Canucks.

Forward Logan Couture led the way offensively for San Jose with two goals as the team moved within a win of the Los Angeles Kings for second in the Pacific Division.

The Sharks will be back in action Thursday against the New Jersey Devils, when they'll look to push their win streak to three games.
