Jannik Hansen: Could miss two weeks
Hansen could be sidelined for up to two weeks with a rib injury he sustained in Tuesday's morning skate, Ben Kuzma of the Vancouver Province reports.
Analysis:
Hansen will be missed by the Canucks and fantasy owners alike during his absence, as he's been a solid offensive contributor this season, notching 32 points (19 goals, 13 assists) in 57 games. Radim Vrbata (groin) is expected to be a game-time decision for Thursday's game against the Sharks, and may get the first crack at slotting into Hansen's role on Vancouver's top line if he's able to play. Hansen's owners can expect an update on the 29-year-old Dane's status once he's able to resume skating.
