Benoit Pouliot really wants to play with Connor McDavid.
The 29-year-old made a precise tape-to-tape pass on a 2-on-1 midway through the first period to set up the Edmonton Oilers phenom for his 10th goal of the season.
Head coach Todd McLellan appears to have had a change of heart after removing Pouliot from McDavid's line during Thursday's morning skate, and rightfully so.
