Enroth led the Kings onto the ice Thursday, indicating he will start the matchup against the Islanders, Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider reports.
Analysis:
With Jonathan Quick (lower body) considered day-to-day, it shouldn't come as a huge shock that the Kings will turn to Enroth between the pipes Thursday. Despite receiving limited opportunities this season, the backup netminder been superb when given a chance, posting a 2.11 GAA and .931 save percentage over 10 appearances. However, he's been a bit shakier (2.30 GAA) on the road than when on his home ice sheet, making Enroth a bit shakier of a play against an Islanders club that's scored 18 goals over five February contests.
