All rookies are subject to ridicule. Not all have previously given themselves a handle like "D-Boss."

Dylan Larkin may not be particularly enjoying having to relive a rueful home video he made of himself, at 13, after it was recently dug up on YouTube.

That makes one person in the Detroit Red Wings room.

"Yes, D-Boss is going around here in the locker room," Henrik Zetterberg said, according to Helene St. James of the Detroit Free Press. "I think he was a little rattled when it came out at first, but he's young. He was even younger when that video was made."

"It's been a lot of laughs," Larkin said. "It's been embarrassing watching it, but you just have to laugh it off."

In this case, of course, the Calder Trophy candidate is a victim of his age, as YouTube and social media weren't around in his teammates' formidable years.

Which Zetterberg admitted he and his teammates are quite thankful for.
