Buffalo's rookie star took Wednesday off to heal up some bumps and bruises after taking a shot off the leg Tuesday against Florida. The Sabres are mired in a three-game losing streak and Eichel is minus-5 with just one assist in those three games, bringing his season total to 36 points in 54 games and a minus-15 rating. The Flyers will also enter Thursday's game with a three-game losing streak of their own and both teams will want to come out with all cylinders firing. Eichel has one goal in two career games against them.
