New York Rangers defenseman Kevin Klein (thumb) is will play against the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday afternoon, head coach Alain Vigneault confirmed.

Analysis:

Klein missed one game after fracturing his thumb in a contest against the Devils on Tuesday night, but the defenseman is not going to let the ailment hold him out of further action. Klein reportedly wore a splint on the injured thumb and managed to get in a full practice Friday, putting him on track for what promises to be an intense Broadway versus Broad Street rivalry match Saturday.
