Hoffman will not return to Monday's game against the Sharks after sustaining an undisclosed injury.

Analysis:

Fellow left winger Shane Prince is a likely candidate for more playing time if Hoffman's injury amounts to something serious. Although, Hoffman will get multiple days to rest before Ottawa takes the ice Thursday against the Devils.
