A change of scenery may have been just what Vincent Lecavalier needed to end his career on a high note.

Getting some power-play time Saturday against the Ottawa Senators, the 35-year-old roofed his first goal with the Los Angeles Kings, and first since April 1 of last year, to give his team a 2-0 lead in the second period.

The marker came after Lecavalier surprisingly usurped captain Dustin Brown on the team's third line, playing alongside Trevor Lewis and Marian Gaborik.
