Jamie Benn is shining bright.
The Dallas Stars captain recorded his 50th point through 38 games Tuesday in Columbus, joining Hall of Fame forward Dino Ciccarelli as the only players in franchise history to reach the half-century mark this early in the season.
Ciccarelli achieved the feat in 1987 when the club was still in Minnesota.

With the helper, Benn tied Patrick Kane for the league lead in points (for the time being, at least), and is on pace for 108 this season.
