Gordon's absence isn't likely to felt in the fantasy realm, as he has just two points in 34 games. With Martin Hanzal (lower body) also placed on IR, the Coyotes have recalled forwards Craig Cunningham and Laurent Dauphin from AHL Springfield. As for Gordon, he'll be eligible to return from IR against the Canucks on Jan. 4.
