Crawford, Hall, Faulk named NHL's 3 stars of the week
Chicago Blackhawks goalie Corey Crawford, Edmonton Oilers forward Taylor Hall, and Carolina Hurricanes defenseman Justin Faulk were named the NHL's three stars of the week Monday.
Crawford won all three of his starts for the week and posted back-to-back shutouts against the Vancouver Canucks and Winnipeg Jets. The 30-year-old has allowed just two goals in his last four starts, helping his team climb into a tie for second in the Central Division.

Hall, meanwhile, recorded six points in two games as the Oilers increased their current season-high winning streak to five games. The 24-year-old scored the winning goal in both contests, and has now done so in three consecutive games.

Finally, Faulk continued his breakout campaign with the Hurricanes, scoring three more power-play goals to give him a league-leading 12 on the season. His tally Saturday tied a franchise record among defenseman that he will surely shatter by the end of the season.
