Rookie forward Frank Vatrano is considered day to day after suffering an upper-body injury, Boston Bruins head coach Claude Julien announced.
Vatrano was forced to make an early exit from Thursday's win over the Minnesota Wild after taking a crunching hit into the boards courtesy of Nate Prosser.
The 21-year-old undrafted winger has scored one goal on 19 shots in the first six games of his NHL career.
The Bruins, meanwhile, are expected to recall a forward from AHL Providence in advance of Saturday's game against Toronto.
