Despite playing against Cory Schneider's old team, Keith Kinkaid picked up the start against the Vancouver Canucks on Sunday and the young backup made a massive stop late in the second period.
Tied at three in the final moments of the frame, Radim Vrbata found himself all alone in front of the goal. After a beautiful deke, a sprawling Kinkaid denied Vrbata on the goal line with his left arm.
Kinkaid entered Sunday searching for his first win of the season in his third start.
