Florida Panthers forward Jaromir Jagr has missed the last two games, both losses, due to a hamstring injury, but the 43-year-old plans to return Wednesday against the Anaheim Ducks.
"It was my goal to get through the practice and I did it," Jagr said Monday, according to George Richards of the Miami Herald. "It's a good step. If I could have, I would have played. I just couldn’t. Hopefully things will even get better over the next two days.
Jagr suffered a hip flexor strain Oct. 13, but has since dealt with a number of complications including hip and groin soreness, as well as breathing troubles.
The five-time Art Ross Trophy winner has 10 points in nine games.
