Bruins' Marchand breaks Panthers' Kulikov's nose with shove into dasher
Bruce Fedyck / USA Today
Boston Bruins forward Brad Marchand received a five-minute major and game misconduct late Friday night for shoving an off-balance Dmitry Kulikov face-first into the edge of the boards.
Marchand didn't push his entire weight into the check, but used both hands to drive the Florida Panthers defenseman forward after he'd released the puck.
And the end result was quite a violent crash, and a broken nose.
Kulikov has not yet been ruled out of Saturday's game versus the Washington Capitals.
