One million dollars reportedly separate the Calgary Flames and forward Lance Bouma.
The Flames are offering $1.5 million, while the winger is requesting a $2.5-million deal, CBC Sports' Tim Wharnsby reports.
Bouma's arbitration hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, if the two sides cannot reach an agreement before then.
The restricted free agent made $775,000 in 2014-15, scoring 16 goals and adding 18 assists in 78 games.
Bouma was a third-round pick of the Flames in 2008.
