The Toronto Maple Leafs wasted little time securing the latest addition to their roster.
Toronto signed Taylor Beck to a one-year contract Monday, one day after acquiring him from the Nashville Predators. The deal is worth $875,000, according to Sportsnet's Chris Johnston.
Beck was scheduled to go to arbitration on July 24. The 24-year-old has appeared in 85 NHL games and earned $550,000 on a one-year deal last season.
