Analysis:

The 29-year-old Greiss compiled a 9-6-3 record to go along with 2.59 GAA and .908 save percentage for the Penguins last season while backing up Marc-Andre Fleury. He'll now fill a similar role with the Islanders, replacing the departed Michal Neuvirth to serve as the understudy to Jaroslav Halak.
