The Detroit Red Wings have come to an agreement on a one-year, $815,000 contract with Joakim Andersson, according to multiple reports Friday.
Andersson, 26, made 68 appearances in a depth capacity last season for the Red Wings, chipping in with three goals and eight points.
He's the first of three restricted free-agent forwards in the organization to agree to a deal. Tomas Jurco and Gustav Nyquist, who certainly won't be had at near-minimum salaries, also require new contracts.
