McDavid named CHL's Player of the Year, wins 2 other awards

Connor McDavid added a trio of honors to his already impressive resume.
The NHL's top prospect was named the CHL's Player of the Year, Scholastic Player of the Year, and Top Prospect of the Year on Saturday.

McDavid amassed 120 points in 47 regular-season games in his third season with the OHL's Erie Otters, adding 49 points in 20 playoff contests.
He was named the OHL's most outstanding player and playoff MVP earlier this month.
The 18-year-old is expected to be selected first overall by the Edmonton Oilers in next month's NHL Entry Draft.
