With Hogtown in a frenzy over the hiring of Mike Babcock by the beloved Toronto Maple Leafs, one local church attempted to tap the brakes on any notion of the coach being at the center of the universe.

Something tells us this won't quell the always lofty expectations surrounding the Maple Leafs, but a little "hockey hope" surely is good for the soul.
